XML Processes and Components

Virtually all commercial data systems employ XML in some form. Default schemas often imitate internal data structures, which are rarely optimal for XML usages.

Most platforms provide a full-featured definitional or querying functionality for XML. Such functionality is powerful, but expert assistance is almost always required to wield it.

We take a different approach. Dataleaf® databases house an unlimited number of defined XML AOS's (Augmented Output Schemata). All data under any schema, and all row-subsets for any selection of records, can be exported as XML text or exposed as web services.

Schemas are maintained by Dataleaf, though they are often specified by the client. Pre-compiled validation reports are available for each stored schema.

An unlimited number of present and planned schemas can be related to the same data in different ways ... a feature which is especially useful in long, multi-staged, data engineering processes.
